Shapefarm has announced Orbitals as a brand-new co-op adventure game. Its overall design favors fans of retro anime with its impactful soundtrack and clean, nostalgic visuals. It’s currently being released as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive in 2026.
The trailer revealed Maki and Omura on an intergalactic mission to traverse space to save their home station, trapped in a supernatural cosmic storm. Teamwork is required for the duo to survive the unknown dangers of space, especially against giant hostiles and booby trapped ruins. More updates will be unveiled closer to the game’s official launch.
