Red Dead Redemption releases on new gaming platforms with upgrades

Rockstar Games is launching Red Dead Redemption on new platforms like mobile platforms and the Netflix service on December 2, 2025. The game will also bring new enhancements to perfect the western experience for current-gen consoles, GTA+ Games Library, and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

The developer has confirmed that the original campaign and Undead Nightmare in Red Dead Redemption will be available for the upcoming platforms. Rockstar also confirmed new additions for Android and iOS devices, like mobile-friendly controls. Netflix subscribers can easily download and play the game through the Netflix service.

The game will also provide free improvements for PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with enhanced graphics, higher resolutions, 60 FPS,  and HDR support. It will even provide DLSS support and mouse controls exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. Those who own Red Dead Redemption on previous-gen consoles can easily carry over their current save progress to the newer version.
