Obsidian is trying to improve The Outer Worlds 2’s poor PS5 Pro presentation

If we were to tell you the PS5 Pro’s presentation of its RPG The Outer Worlds 2 needed improvements, would you be surprised? Probably not, considering Sony’s mid-gen refresh has been notoriously difficult to work with when trying to implement its proprietary PSSR tech.

New patch notes have come out introducing several fixes to bugs and general improvements, but it also fixes blurry grass in Paradise Island and “unexpected lighting noise across the game” striking PSSR and replacing it with TSR for its upscaling needs.

The patch also fixes rare occasional crashes and prevents a perk from stalling your game.
