What to know about the 2XKO closed beta

2XKO is the new free-to-play fighting game featuring League of Legends characters like Jinx, Shrine, Ekko, Darius, Braum, Illaoi, and Yasuo. After its previous Alpha Lab tests, Riot Games recently brought the latest version of 2XKO in a closed beta.

This new session is only accessible for the PC platform through Riot Games’ invite system; acquiring a beta invite requires registration with a valid email and Riot account. Participants from previous Alpha Lab sessions are already registered for the closed beta codes.

New modes will be introduced in the 2XKO closed beta, like offline play and champion mastery. Each fighter has different timed missions to rank up their champion level for unique rewards like costumes, mastery chroma, taunts, player cards, and more.  It’s possible to create unique duos with various fuses in online ranked mode on September 18.

The closed beta is a lot different compared to other Alpha Labs, with new changes to character balancing and system mechanics. Players can even try out the newer fighters like Vi and Blitzcrank for the first time. Most of the fighters will feel new with varied tweaks to their utilities and neutral.

Riot Games announced that the full game will immediately continue after the closed beta ends. Anyone who participates during the beta will earn the exclusive player title: challenger. Any progress made during the beta will be erased once the full game launches for all eligible platforms. The developers will continue handing out beta codes through registration and provide any updates during the beta session.
