Blacktail developer, Parasight, is launching its newest game to early access later this month with a special discount for early buyers. Also, yes, there’s a bird.
In a press release, Davy x Jones puts you in the freshly slain Davy Jones who was “betrayed, robbed, and ultimately beheaded.” In the game you control Jones, the headless body of the infamous pirate as you form an alliance with Davy, the stubborn head in order to reclaim your legendary Artifacts and ultimately bring your mortal enemy, Blackbeard, down to The Locker.
The game offers a new take on the legendary pirate, ultimately nine different islands to traverse floating in the clouds, ship combat, and more. You’ll face enemies on land with your sword, gun, and your head’s tentacle.
Davy x Jones will be a modest $9.99, but for the first six days, six hours, and six minutes, it will be a decently discounted $6.66.
Davy x Jones launches to Steam in early access on August 28.
