Patapon successor, Ratatan, enters early access next month

Rhythm action game, Ratatan, is releasing in early access in September. We also got a look at a new locale you’ll rhythmically waltz through.

In a press release, Ratata Arts shared the game will be releasing on Steam in early access next month, alongside the reveal of World 3, dubbed Jam Jammer Jungle Journey. In this new world, we assume we’re there to put a stop to priestess Tolja So, who aims to resurrect an evil god.

World 4, dubbed Frozen Flower Fantasia, was also announced, though, Ratata Arts didn’t share any gameplay footage of that. We’ll get to fight the ruler, Glaciera, and her loyal followers to save this frigid land. We also saw some new Ratatans with new weapons, such as staves, bombs, scythes, and hammers.

Ratatan releases to early access on September 19 at 8 AM PDT.
