Hitman’s MindsEye crossover update delayed

MindsEye developer, Build a Rocket Boy, has delayed its crossover with Hitman, giving no indicator when it will move forward. The dev’s also slowing down patching the title to be less frequent but more meaningful.

In an update on its website, BARB shares that it’s been postponed “to a later date” and it will deliver the crossover “when the time is right.”

“We apologise that the release of the Hitman x MindsEye Mission, originally scheduled for July, has been postponed to a later date. We look forward to delivering this exciting crossover when the time is right and will provide further updates as soon as we’re able.”

The crossover, which would’ve had Agent 47 in Redrock City, had very little info, so it’s all-too-possible it just needs a bit more polishing… or the dev is wanting to fix the base game before moving forward with the crossover, as it’s sure to attract more players.

In our MindsEye review, Ben Newton said: “MindsEye promised a lot, and ultimately it failed to deliver on that promise, but what it did deliver honestly isn’t that bad. If like me, you’re fortunate to experience the game without much of the performance and bug issues being reported by many users, what you have is a serviceable game that probably just needed a little more time in the oven.”
