Spellbound Survivors is out now on Steam, letting you dive into the pixelated realm with a slight discount for early adopters. Much like many before it, it’s billed as a roguelike.
Developed and published by ToastedSquadStudios, it tasks you with embarking on an epic quest to vanquish the Overlord Wizard while facing off against their minions, too. It features standard roguelike affairs — collect experience and items, level up, customize weapons, optimize your combat strategy, etc.
It is worth noting that early press reviews of the game are less-than-impressed with Spellbound Survivors, but its user counterpart on Steam seem to be enjoying the adventures, albeit with some bugs that the dev will need to fix. Regardless, at the highest price, you’re only spending $4.99, but it’s currently on sale for $4.49 if you still need a bit of convincing.
