Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 goes gold

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has officially gone gold as it eyes its April 24 release. This turn-based RPG is Sandfall Interactive’s debut project.

Taking to its blog, the studio unveiled that the game has gone gold and is currently in the “final stretch” of development. This means, now the team is mostly focusing on ensuring the game is polished before it releases at the tail-end of next month. Speaking about the project, the team expressed how this was a dream game of the small team.

“We set out to craft the game of our dreams—a passion project built by a small team of RPG fanatics, artists, musicians, and friends.”

Expedition 33 follows a team of people seeking to stop the Paintress, a woman with god-like powers who can kill anyone that’s a certain age if written on her massive monolith dwelling.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches on April 24 to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
