Animated comedy Solar Opposites ends with Season 6

Debuting in 2020, Hulu’s adult animated sci-fi sitcom, Solar Opposites, is finishing its run with six seasons this fall. The show, which originally starred since outcasted series co-creator Justin Roiland of Rick & Morty fame, was confirmed for Season 6 last year, but at the time, it wasn’t clear that it would be its last.

On Instagram, Hulu confirmed the series’ final season would drop in the fall, seeing the continued attempts to live amongst humans after crashlanding on the planet after fleeing the destruction of their home world. Beyond Roiland, who left the show in 2023, the series’ co-creator Mike McMahan was known for Star Trek: Lower Decks, an animated spin-off set within the Star Trek universe.

At this time, it isn’t clear when Solar Opposites will return beyond the vague fall 2025 timeline.
