Sniper Elite: Resistance tops UK retail charts

Rebellion Developments’ Sniper Elite: Resistance has made waves in the UK’s physical gaming scene, it seems. The game’s primary purchasing audience were PlayStation owners in a retail setting.

A report from Push Square indicates that the game has taken the top spot, pushing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to second place, in this week’s sales chart. Other games in the list include Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Minecraft, and more.

  5. Minecraft
  6. Grand Theft Auto 5
  7. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
  8. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  9. Nintendo Switch Sports
  10. Super Mario Bros. Wonder

In our review of Sniper Elite: Resistance, we said: “Sniper Elite: Resistance can have exciting moments. Getting spotted while finishing your last objective and making a hasty escape from the area can be exhilarating. However, these moments are squandered by rigid mission structures and stealth mechanics that have been implemented in more interesting ways in other games.”
