Assassin’s Creed Shadows previews are still greenlit for later this month

Despite a month-long delay, Assassin’s Creed Shadows appears to remain eyeing previews for the game later this month. This is all just one big rumor, though, it wouldn’t be that shocking.

Well-established insider, Tom Henderson, reveals on Twitter that while the game was delayed, previews are still happening next week, with a January 23 embargo. Of course, it’s probably dubious in how he likely attained this info, but regardless, for those excited for Shadows, you at least have a little something to look forward to later this month.

Recently, Ubisoft revealed that it would be delaying Assassin’s Creed Shadows for the second time to ensure it implements player feedback. This was, of course, after delaying the game from its November 2024 scheduled release.

It’s hard to believe Ubi will still host press previews, but we suspect much of the previews will just be already hammered out content that wouldn’t get any tweaks down the line.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows releases on March 2025 to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
