Marvel Rivals secures new peak player count

No doubt, you know the deal with Marvel Rivals — it’s NetEase’s solution to Overwatch 2 and has felt a great deal of success, including recently as its peak player count marches upwards. The game has even beaten the likes of Counter-Strike 2.

As pointed out by Insider Gaming, the hero shooter, besides securing a whopping 20 million players by the end of December, has seen its peak player count go up to 644,269 at a time. This boost in popularity comes after the debut of its first fully developed season.

In our review, we said: “If you’re not into multiplayer, it’s at least worth a shot because it’s free-to-play. NetEase released Marvel Rivals at just the perfect time. We will see how far they can take this very strong launch, but currently, this game is a blast! It’s a must-play for Marvel fans, shooter fans, and especially Overwatch fans.”
