Satisfactory won’t get any new updates for a while

Coffee Stain Studios’ Satisfactory has been a hit even before its 1.0 release back in mid-September. Now, though, it looks like the studio will be taking a hiatus from updating the game after its next update — 1.0.0.5.

Talking to the players in a recent video (via PCGamesN), community manager Snutt Treptow addressed some things, chiefly, it’s that the studio will be taking a break until Ficsmas, Satisfactory’s seasonal event. During this hiatus, we shouldn’t expect any new patches. Beyond the hiatus, he also addressed that 1.1 will finally introduce straight pipes and Coffee Stain is considering DLC.

Treptow detailed what we should expect from the upcoming update, like the reintroduction of “clearance visualization on buildings when snapping,” a divisive feature, but one that a majority missed from older builds. This feature will be something that can be toggled on and off as to please both camps.

Hologram placements will also be improved, though, it sounds like this is something that later updates will further tackle.
