First look at grown-up Bobby Hill from the King of the Hill revival

Fans got a sudden first look at Bobby Hill as soon-to-be-seen in the King of the Hill revival over on Hulu. Based on the impromptu teaser, it seems he is doing well for himself.

Voice actress Grey DeLisle shared (and later deleted) a picture of Bobby’s new look alongside a clear enough description dubbed “About the Chef,” further solidifying his prowess in the restaurant field. The description was equal parts throwbacks to classic King of the Hill episodes and tidbits about things that happened after the series ended.

Previous reports kind of indicate what we should expect and that the show hasn’t lost its roots of a set-in-their-ways father having to learn to accept things that weren’t part of his generation. We suspect there will be some conflicts between Bobby and Hank thanks to his position at a Dallas-based fusion restaurant focusing on robata, which typically involves charcoal — any fan can see the sore spot there.

King of the Hill’s revival joins Futurama with a revival slated for 2025.
