Diego Ras and QUByte Interactive’s Raccoo Venture is out now across all major platforms, and to coincide with its release, the team put together a launch trailer. The game only costs $14.99, which isn’t too bad, either.
The Brazillian game company is no stranger to the game-making craft, having an extensive list of games it’s either ported or developed. This cutesy 3D platformer, which was solely developed by Ras, puts you in the shoes of Raccoo and their feathered side-kick, Pru, as they go on a bout of self-discovery and keeping the peace in the land of Verta.
Customize your hero in a slew of different skins, solve puzzles, and unearth mysteries that spread across the land. If it wasn’t obvious, Raccoo Venture is a spiritual success to not necessarily any particular game, but rather the 3D platforming genre as a whole. From the trailer, it seethes that “spiritual successor” energy from the simple gameplay and charm-filled graphics, to the level design.
