Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster returns the original licensed soundtrack

Capcom has inked deals to revive the original beloved soundtrack from Dead Rising into Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. At this point, it isn’t clear if every song is returning or just a select few.

A Capcom spokesperson confirmed to VG247 that the Japanese game developer and publisher behind the IP has struck deals to include the soundtrack. Much of the game features licensed tracks to amp up the game’s style, fitting each song with an equally epic battle against one of the many Psychopaths found across the Willamette Parkview Mall.

Announced at the tail-end of June, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster brings fans back to the original setting of the beloved franchise, which hasn’t seen any action since the lukewarm release of Dead Rising 4 in late 2016 to Xbox One and PC and 2017 to PS4.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster launches September 19, 2024 to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
