Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed gets September release

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, the remake of the stylistic Wii-era cult hit, Epic Mickey, is getting a September release date. It was revealed during a Nintendo Direct, though, it is also heading to other platforms, too.

Announced through a video on the THQ Nordic YouTube channel, fans get the nostalgic feeling of the original game director Warren Spector discussing the 2010 game’s remake. In the video, we not only got a peak at a $200 limited edition up for pre-order, which includes  an 11-inch Mickey Mouse statue, a tin sign, Rebrushed postcards, a collector’s steelbook, and more. Additionally, pre-ordering nets you 24-hour early access to the game and a costume pack.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is under the watchful eyes of developer Purple Lamp, which developed SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. This remake has quite a bit to live up to, the original game has quite a fanbase. We don’t that much longer to wait, though.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on September 24, 2024 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
